Ready for the time of your life? Adventure campers grades 6-12 arrive at camp prepared for a more outdoor-oriented camp experience. Each day begins with a cool “polar bear plunge,” complete with a real polar bear (or one of our staff members in a bear suit!). Following breakfast, our adventurers engage in morning worship followed by some high energy games and team builders to kickstart the morning. Campers participate in a variety of traditional camp activities, such as archery, arts and crafts, boating, hiking, swimming, and more. Bible study takes place every day, at different locations throughout the camp and surrounding community. We’ll pack a picnic and hike beautiful Mt. Bog for a high altitude escape. A mid-week trip to the nearby town of New London is a highlight for our Adventure campers, who compete in a scavenger hunt and other exciting activities while exploring this idyllic New England town. An end of the week tent campout is an unforgettable night of fun, friendship and devotion complete with camp songs and s’mores. Daily “Cabin Challenges” provide an opportunity for some creativity and friendly competition. Each evening our Adventure campers will meet for Vespers and a viewing of the Christian education series “Nooma.” On clear nights you might catch us pondering the night sky or boating by moonlight.
