Where souls meets body! Challenger’s Camp is a camp for developmentally challenged adults which provides a week long Christ- centered vacation.
Every consideration is given for the campers while they spend their time at the camp. A licensed nurse is always present at the camp, and the kitchen staff accommodates the meal plan for any dietary needs. Activities during the day range from making crafts, studying scripture, and even time at the waterfront, where campers are able to swim and go out into the lake in canoes with their counselors. Every night there is a special activity planned, such as a costume party or talent show. By the end of the week, the campers walk away feeling more welcomed into the world that God has made for them, and usually cannot wait for the next year so they can come back!
