Camp Wilmot offers excellent retreat center facilities.

The camp is available for use by youth groups, retreats, family groups and more throughout the year.

Famhouse / Main Lodge: Our winterized farmhouse contains 4 upstairs bedrooms with rooms sleeping between 2 and 6 individuals (total capacity 11 guests). Guests have access to 3 and 1/2 bathrooms and can relax on our screened in front deck. The bottom floor of the farmhouse is home to the main camp office and the director’s residence. A washer and dryer are located in the basement, for emergency use only. Camp Wilmot is a technology free-zone, but guests may access the camp telephone and computer if necessary.

Dining Hall and Kitchen: The dining hall seats 100+ people and is the perfect space for meetings and fellowship. Basic audio/visual equipment (microphones, projectors, televisions, etc) is available upon request. Our musically inclined guests are free to play the upright piano, located in the dining room. Our full commercial-sized kitchen contains a walk-in refrigerator, an industrial stove/oven/griddle, as well as a separate convection oven. Guests have ample counter space to prepare meals and are welcome to use any of our kitchen implements. Two drop-in freezers are located in the basement and a Hobart industrial dishwasher is available for use in our dish pit.

Asper Inn: The Asper Inn serves as the camp infirmary during the summer, but is available for rental in the off-season. This cozy, winterized inn contains 2 full bedrooms and 1 bathroom.

White Birch Cabin: The White Birch Cabin can sleep up to 6 guests in 2 bedrooms. This cabin boasts 1 bathroom and full electric.

Christopher’s Haven: This comfortable, winterized lodge sleeps up to 10 individuals in 2 bedrooms. Guests share 1 bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen. Relax in the living room by the wood burning stove or enjoy a cup of copy on the attached deck.

Historic Barn: This rustic building boasts a large, open area for meetings complete with a working fireplace. Men’s and women’s bathrooms with showers and stalls are located on the back of the barn.

Eliot Pavilion: This enclosed space is perfect for small meetings or game night. The pavilion boasts  ping pong  and other table games and plenty of chairs and tables for lounging around.

Canteen: This small structure is used as our camp store during the summer. A refrigerator keeps the drinks cold!

Cabins: Each of our cabins contains 10 single beds and a full bathroom with hot water.

  • 2 Ledge Cabins
  • 1 Hideaway Cabin (this cabin sleeps up to 20 with 2 full bathrooms, a large central meeting space, tables, a kitchenette with a stove and refrigerator and a cozy fireplace.

 

Vesper Hill: Vesper Hill offers a beautiful view of camp and the surrounding area. A large campfire circle, wooden cross  and seating for 50 make this the perfect setting for outdoor worship.

Whites Pond: A private pond with sandy beaches and floating docks provides the setting for a variety of water activities, including swimming, kayaking, canoeing and polar bear plunges.

Pond Shore Circle: This scenic  spot, decorated with a wooden cross and campfire circle is a great location for outdoor picnics and meetings.

Camp Outpost: The outpost, just a short hike from the pond, is a clearing in the woods that can be used for tent camping. An outhouse and campfire circle complete the rustic camping experience.

Low Ropes Course: Our low ropes course contains 15 fun elements that are perfect for team building activities and plain old fun.

Hiking Trails: Camp Wilmot boasts several miles of marked trails that wind through our 200+ acres of woods, fields and hilltops.

Activity Fields: Take advantage of our informal soccer field, volleyball nets, etc.

Sports Depot: This building houses our games and play equipment.

Children’s Playground: For the youngsters in your group–slides, swings, and more!

Arts & Crafts Building: This small building, set nicely in a clearing of woods, is a quiet space to work on arts and crafts projects. A large deck with tables and benches provides ample space to get those creative juices flowing.

Nature Hut: This small hut, next to the arts and crafts building contains a collection of local natural specimens and guidebooks.

Peace Garden and Labyrinth: Our peace garden is for everyone who needs time to rest and relax. Our stone-lined labyrinth is a quiet space for meditation and reflection.
