Robin Loewald, Camp Director
Robin started by coming to camp as a camper at age 13 and has loved her time here every summer since. Her favorite camp activities are swimming, boating, making candles, singing, and hiking up Bog Mtn. She's grateful for the incredibly special place in her faith journey that Camp Wilmot has played and continues to play. She graduated from Middlebury College in 2016 and taught for a few years before getting her Masters in Education from Harvard Graduate School of Education in 2019. While she's not at camp in the summer or during winter weekends, she teaches high school English in MA.
Kayla McKinsey, Camp Director
Kayla first came to camp as a shy 12 year old, and couldn't get enough of the welcome and acceptance she felt. She has been coming back every summer since, grateful for the space to connect with nature, build relationships with new friends, and deepen her faith. In between summers and retreat weekends at Camp Wilmot, Kayla graduated from Carleton College in 2016 and completed her MDiv at Harvard Divinity School in 2020. She's on the ordination track in the PCUSA, and recently accepted a call to serve as an Associate Pastor at The Dover Church in MA - and attributes so much of her call to ordained ministry to things she learned and discerned at camp. Up at Camp Wilmot, you'll find Kayla on the ropes course, enjoying the view down by the waterfront, or getting way too competitive with the camp's synchronized swimming competition and sing off.
